On January 17, 2014, hundreds gathered at the APSARA Community Center at the Park Village Apartments to mark the 25th anniversary of the Cleveland School shooting. In attendance were Stockton Police Chief Eric Jones, former Stockton Mayor Barbara Fass, former Cleveland Principal Pat Busher and a number of surviving students, family members, and community leaders.
The event honored survivors, first responders, and the five children who died during the Cleveland School Shooting: Thuy Tran, 6; Rathanar Or, 9; Oeun Lim, 8; Sokhim An, 6; and Ram Chun, 6.
