A vigil for the five children killed at Cleveland Elementary School in 1989, and for all victims who have died from gun violence in Stockton will be held on Wed., Jan. 17 at 5:30 p.m.
The public is invited to attend the vigil at St. John the Evangelist Episcopal Church, 316 N. El Dorado St. (at the corner with Miner Ave.).
Free parking is available in the church parking lot off of El Dorado.
All who have lost a loved one to gun violence in our community are encouraged to bring a photograph (no larger than 8″ x 10″) of their deceased loved one to place on a memory table, and will be asked to speak the name of the person lost.
This is a solemn event. Please do not bring signs or noise makers. The vigil is sponsored by Cleveland School Remembers, a Brady Campaign Chapter to Prevent Gun Violence.
