The Victims of Violent Crime Support Group along with the San Joaquin County District Attorney’s Witness Program will be holding their annual candlelight vigil.
The event will be in honor and remembrance of loved ones in San Joaquin County lost to violent crime. The event will be located at:
Stockton – Weber Point on December 4th, 2014 at 6pm
The event will include a short march and family members are encouraged to bring an ornament to hang on the tree dedicated to those victims. We’ll have extra ornaments available for families that need one.
Please shop at stores with gun sense policies that keep families safe.
In particular, Moms Demand Action is encouraging supporters to avoid the Kroger family of stores, who have continued to allow open carry of loaded firearms despite overwhelming feedback from their customers. As we come up on the biggest grocery shopping season of the year, we need to remind Kroger that we can (and will) take our business elsewhere, until they get gun sense.
